There are three sizes of square spacer beads, on this page each side of the square spacer is 6mm with a 10mm depth (thickness).

The hole through the middle of the spacer will accommodate a 1mm or 2mm cord.
Like all of the ceramics, if you scratch the surface hard enough (and it takes a bit of doing) you can scratch off the colouring to leave a plain surface.
These square spacer tubes are avaiable in 10's or 100's, sorry no mixes!
