Fishhooks
Fishhooks are our most popular earring findings for pierced ears. Use headpins and eyepins (below) to hang beads from the loop at
the bottom of the fishhook, or you could use a jump ring to hang
a pendant. These silver/gold plated findings are low nickel.
We have a 'How to Leaflet' that may help you use these components
Headpins
Headpins are used to attach beads to earring findings, like fishhooks above.
Thread beads onto the pin leaving about 1cm to make a loop at the top of the
pin in order to attach to the earring finding. These pins are 50mm (2 inches)
in length and are 0.6mm (22 gauge) thick.

Eyepins
Eyepins are used in the same way as headpins. The eye at the bottom of the
pin not only stops large hole beads from falling off but allows you to add
another pin to make longer earrings!
These pins are 50mm (2 inches) in length and 0.6mm (22 gauge) thick.

Non Pierced Earring Components
Earring clips are the alternatives for people who do not have pierced ears.
You can hang your beads from a pin, which connects to the clip via loops.
You make a loop at the top of your head/eye pin and connect with the loop
you can see on the picture. These clips are not adjustable.
Another type for non-pierced ears, the screw fastenings are adjustable.
There is more control on how well they grip the ears, whereas the clips
are not adjustable and not suitable for delicate ears!
These are the same as the above clips but are more decorative.
The clip is a little stronger so they are much better for heavier beads.
These clips are not adjustable either.
These clips are used for gluing flat back stones etc. These clips cannot
be adjusted either but the pads are patterned which helps with the adhesive.
