Semi-Precious Beads - Haematite Shapes
Haematite is a polished iron ore. It has a metallic black appearance, although the text book says it should be red due to the oxides in the stone. Haematite is a heavy stone and is believed to promote Anti-depression. In the shapes we have are stars, hearts, cubes and small ovals.

As the picture shows, five pointed star shaped beads. We have the star shapes in two sizes, 6mm and 8mm. They are strung on monofilament which makes them easy to remove for restringing.

As with the star shaped beads, we also have heart shaped haematite beads in two sizes, 6mm and 8mm. They are strung on monofilament which makes them easy to remove for restringing.

We also have cubed haematite beads in two sizes, 3mm and 4mm. They are strung on monofilament which makes them easy to remove for restringing or for just adding a clasp.

The haematite ovals that we stock are 6mm long and 3mm in width. Like all of the other shapes, these ovals are strung on monofilament which makes it easier to either restring or cut to the correct length and have a clasp added.
