Faceted Czech Glass Rondelle Crystal AB

The Czech Republic is probably the largest producer of glass beads in the world. Fire polished is the term given to faceted glass. The facets in the glass are cut by machine and are very angular with sharp definition. The beads are then placed back into a kiln to allow the facets to melt slightly to give them a rounded shiny appearance which is why they are called fire-polished.
