Filigree Cone Ends Silver Plated *

These intricate Filigree Cone End components are used at the end of a multi-strand necklace where several strands meet and have to be concealed. In order to use these findings it is necessary to create an eyepin from wire, for example use 0.8mm, with a long tail. Each strand of your threaded beads are then connected to the eye of this pin. Then feed the pin end of the loaded eyepin up from the wide open end until the pin sticks out of the tapered end of the cone. The ends of your beaded threads will have disappeared inside the cone at this stage. To secure the threads inside the cone create another eye at the end of your pin. This will keep the tension and stop the threads from pulling the pin back into the cone. This also provides a loop to connect your clasp! We also stock them in gold plated, and antique silver colour finishes.
