Paragon Kiln SC-2B

An excellent kiln for jewellery use; fusing, bead annealing, Art Clay/PMC, Glass Clay & enamelling. Can also be used for small home-ware items such as bowls & coasters (though a standard size set will require 4 firings!).

The kiln has 4 adjustable programmes (I have one each for tack fusing, full fusing, batch bead annealing & bead annealing on mandrel - requires the bead door version).

I have the version with both the bead door (a small letterbox opening for resting mandrels or glass rods, comes with a stainless steel rod rest) and viewing window (so I can judge whether dichroic glass pendants have fused sufficiently), however this option is for the SC-2B bead door. See SC-2 for the basic option, SC-2W for viewing window or SC2-BW for bead door and window. With the firing schedule I use a full fuse uses 3.7 units of electricity.

The kiln comes with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty (my kiln is over 5 years old now and still going strong!).

Requires an 18 x 18cm shelf and posts available separately for fusing or enamelling.

Certified CE compliant. Kilns are fitted with a UK plug and suit a single phase 220-240v household supply. Inner dimensions 20 x 20 x 14cm (WxDxH). Outer dimensions 34 x 33 x 40cm (WxDxH). Weight 16 kg. Maximum temperature approximately 1095c.
