Nylon Jawed Pliers
Nylon Jawed pliers are an ideal tool for working with wire without leaving any marks. Flat-nose nylon jaw pliers protect wire from nicks when pressing or sliding wire between the jaws. They are excellent for pressing wire components flat, and for hardening wire designs. They are great for straightening wire after making mistakes, helping preserve those precious wire scraps. Hardening wire designs is an important part of fixing or locking your wire designs so they do not flex or lose their shape when being handled.

Half flat / Half round pliers are designed for forming loops in wire. We have found that the loops made with these pliers are consistant and no marks or dents are left in the wire. Not so great for crimping but can grip and manipulate wire nearly as well as flat nose pliers. These pliers are an essential tool for those who make a lot of earrings or link chains, anything that requires consistant, neat loops.
3 step round nose pliers are designed for forming 3 sizes of loops or can be used to make 3 sizes of jump rings. We have found that the loops made with these pliers are consistant if you require loops of the 3 set shoulder diameters. The flat jaw helps to make the loop without any marks or dents, just like the half flat / half round pliers above.
A close up of the jaws of these 3 in 1 pliers. Round nose at the tip and chain nose half way down and the cutters at the bottom. The cutters will cut soft wire like our plated wire but will not cut anything hard or thin like Memory Wire (you need the memory wire cutters) or beadalon wire (you need professional cutters) or beading threads (you need scisssors)
