Tiara Bands

We have two types of tiara bases in stock. The Alice band and Crown tiara bands. Both are shown below and can be bought in singles or 10's and 50's in the ame plating. Both types of bases come in silver and gold plate.  We also have two sizes of plastic haircombs.

Alice Bands

These are the traditional Alice band. They are larger than the crown tiara bases and have rounded, smooth ends. These bands are very strong and flexible, which make them ideal for reshaping. There is a pattern on the inside of the band that helps with gripping the hair!
We now have a clear acetate box which will hold most tiara designs on this band.

The dimensions of these bands are 130mm (left to right) x 145mm (top to bottom).
The bands are made from 1mm thick x 4mm deep plated metal.

Small Alice Bands

The Small Alice Band, pictured in the centre of the normal sized gold Alice Band, is smaller on all dimensions. This smaller band has no pattern on the inside to help grip the hair and does not come with a small hole at the end of either leg.
This smaller Alice Band is available in a silver or gold plated finish.
We now have a clear acetate box which will hold most tiara designs on this band.

Due to the sharp rise in price for copper, this has led to an increase in finished plated goods hence we have had to raise the price, for the first time in 6 years!, on both of our Alice Bands and Crown Tiara Bands

Crown Tiara Bases

This picture shows the crown tiara bases. These differ from the ones above by having a hole at each end, which allows the ends to be joined with wire to make a complete circle. The bases are a smaller diameter from the Alice bands and are a very flexible metal making them easily bent to fit the shape of the head.
We now have a clear acetate box which will hold most tiara designs on this band.

Haircombs

We now have clear plastic haircombs, the smaller ones are very much like the ones used in the tiara book.

These combs are made from sturdy plastic but it is still possible to break them!

Small Combs

The middle sized clear actetate box that we sell will accommodate this haircomb very well. The dimensions of this hair comb are 70mm (2.75 inches) across and the teeth and band measure
40mm (1.5 inches) deep.
