Delicas, Bugles and Seed Beads

Miyuki Delica beads, Tila beads, half tila beads and quarter tilas are manufactured in Japan by Miyuki Beads. Delicas are used in jewellery making where precision detailing is needed.  That said delica beads are good spacer beads and easy to thread up even when making the simplest of jewellery!

Our range of bugle beads are manufactured in the Czech republic. Made from thin glass tubes, bugles are either straight bugle beads or twisted. With twisted bugles there is a twist in the length of the tube. The twist adds to the texture and effect it will give your beading project. The most common and popular size is 7mm. The Gutermann range of bugle beads are also manufactured in the Czech Republic.

We stock glass seed beads and glass bugle beads manufactured in the Czech Republic by Preciosa. Seed beads differ from Delicas as they are more rounded like a donut shape whereas the Delicas are cylindrical in shape like small tubes.

Please be aware that larger the size number = the smaller the bead size and this is case in both seed and delicas.
