(This workshop runs 10am – 4pm, we have an hour lunch break, there are loads of cafes close by or you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat here). Skill Level : 1
Using a variety of different techniques learn how to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces. You’ll be introduced to the basic tools needed to start making jewellery, as well as covering basic wire work, stringing and bead weaving. You’ll have the opportunity to make a pair of earrings, 2 bracelets and two necklaces, each one incorporating different methods so give you a wide range of skills and items to take away with you. This is an ideal workshop to learn a little bit about lots of different jewellery making skills which can help you decided what to learn next.
Some of the beads used in this design are quite small so if you usually use a magnifier or specific glasses for close work you’ll want to bring those along with you.
All materials are provided and you get to take home the jewellery you make. There will be fairtrade refreshments and you will also receive a 10% off voucher for purchases you make in the shop (exclusions apply, please see main workshop page for more details).
