Description

4mm Vivid Blue Faceted Czech Glass Beads are perfect for stringing or beadweaving. Made by Preciosa in the Czech Republic. They are excellent quality and uniform in size and shape (though occasionally there is the odd different bead).

These beads are known as fire polished which is the term given to faceted glass produced in the traditional way. The facets in the beads are cut by machine and are angular with sharp definition, then placed back into a kiln to allow the facets to melt slightly to give them a rounded shiny appearance which is why they are called fire-polished. Supplied on temporary string for display. Each string contains roughly 100 beads.

4mm beads are our most popular size and work well in jewellery. Ideal for beaded bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Make simple bracelets by stringing on elastic or use with thinner threads for bead weaving. With an approximately 0.8mm hole and rounded sides. If using on tiaras we’d recommend 0.4mm or 0.6mm wire to allow room for twisting the wire. These 4mm vivid blue faceted Czech glass beads are an electric blue colour.
