Haematite

Haematite semi-precious beads are mined from the ground and then cut, shaped, and polished to a very high gloss finish. Magnetic haematite is considered to help relieve arthritic pain when worn.

These days Haematite is being replaced with a replica stone called Hematine and like Haematite it is polished to a very high gloss finish.
