These snowflake may look intricate and difficult to make, however we have tried and tested this design with complete beginners. Providing a great way to build on your beading techniques and gain confidence. The snowflakes combine several different beading techniques making it a great project to get into beading. The steps are broken down clearly with the new thread path highlighted at each stage making it easy to follow along with.

The Festive Snowflakes Decoration- pattern is ideal for making decorations for your tree, or making handmade gifts. They also look great as embellishments for wrapped presents.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a kit, it is just the pattern to show you how to make the Festive Snowflake Decoration.

To create one festive snowflake decoration you will require the following materials:
1 x 8mm pearl bead
0.5g x size 8 Czech glass seed beads (approx.) just 10 beads are needed
20 x 4mm crystal bicone beads
1g Size 11 (smaller) Czech Glass seed beads (approx.)
1g x 7mm Czech glass bugle beads
Size 13 Beading needle
At least 90cm of Beading thread (we used 4lb fireline).
Satin cord or ribbon to create the loop to hang the decoration
You will also find a bead mat useful.

we used crystal and crystal and crystal AB colours for our snowflake decorations, but you can use your own colours. There are endless possibilities and colourways!
