Fizz Cat Needle Case Cover Kit – Peyote Stitch

This Fizz Cat Needle Case Cover – Peyote Stitch is a great way to get into bead weaving. The kit uses peyote stitch to create both the body of the design and the ends.

The kit comes with full instructions and materials needed to make the needle case cover including, the wooden needle case blank, all the beads, thread, needle and a bead mat, all presented in a neat small box. There is a video to accompany the kit, showing how to create the ends of the cover. Sometimes it is much easier to watch someone else do the trickier parts (particularly if the technique is new to you). We also have a handy video showing you how to get started with peyote stitch. Along side your kit you will find a bead mat and embroidery scissors  handy and possibly a needle threader.

The Fizz Cat design was originally created for a competition winner, the prize being to have bespoke designed created to their specifications. The request was for a rainbow with a black cat or paw prints to commemorate their cat little black cat they’d just lost. We created the pattern to incorporate both a cats and paw prints and they loved it. So we’ve named the pattern after the cat it was inspired by. A lovely memento to remember a furry family member by.
