Size 5 seed beads are quite big when compared to size 8 or size 11. You get approx. 110 beads in 10g and these beads measure approx. 3mm x 4mm. You will find that the larger the size of bead the smaller the actual physical size. Size 1 is huge whereas size 15’s are tiny.

These beads are ideal for simply stringing onto elastic to make bracelets or beadweaving and another popular use is to incorporate beads into knitting, these size 5 seed beads work well with double knit yarn. As well as being used as spacer beads in between decorative beads.
