Size 8 Haematite Seed Beads

Description

Size 8 haematite seed beads are small glass beads in a polished iron ore effect. The beads are popular in beadweaving both on and off the loom. Seed beads have a generous sized round hole measuring approxiamate 0.8mm and can be used for bead embroidery. Glass seed beads are a very versatile bead used in many styles of beading and crafting.

Size 8 haematite seed beads are a polished dark grey shade, a neutral colour almost like black. Preciosa manufacture these glass beads in the Czech Republic and are consistent in size and shape. That said, seed beads are a rounded donut shape which produce gaps when weaved together in peyote or brickstitch.

By stringing these beads onto 0.7mm stretch magic elastic and tying a knot you will create a simple but effective bracelet. You can experiment with these beads on any number of the projects on our Youtube channel.
