Solar System Necklace Kit

Description

The Solar System Necklace Kit is a fun and elegant project portraying our Solar System in semi-precious Gemstone beads. Designed by Angela Lewis (who many of you will have met in the shop) the necklace was inspired by Angela’s love of all things Space related. The picture of Angela’s necklace was initially shared in one of our newsletters and we had so many requests for a kit, that included all the individual beads that we made it for you!

The Solar System Necklace Kit has all the beads and findings included, as well as instructions with a linked video. You will also need a set of pliers; round nose pliers to make the links, chain nose pliers to connect the links together and cutters to cut the chain and the excess wire from the eye pins. We sell the pliers, available as a hobby set as well as a professional set.

Angela chose to use our range of Sem-precious beads to depict the planets as they have a lovely ethereal quality to them.

This is a great follow on project to our Introduction to Jewellery Making workshop. Or an ideal kit for a beginner.
