Stretch Magic elastic 1mm in Sparkle Silver colour is the perfect way to get into bracelet making. Stretch Magic is a strong plastic elastic ideal for making stretchy bracelets. It doesn’t fray like fabric elastics so is much easier to use. The 1.0mm elastic is ideal for beads with larger holes e.g size 3 or size 5 seed beads, plastic beads and wooden beads. Finish with a reef knot (left over right, then right over left) and a dab of glue or a size 3 crimp tube. We recommend pre-stretching your elastic before you thread your beads on to it. This prevents your bracelets sagging after you have made them. To stop the beads falling off the end, either use a bead stopper , a piece of tape or thread directly onto the reel. As Stretch Magic Sparkle Silver is quite a stiff elastic thread you don’t need a needle to make your bracelets. Each 5 metre reel will make roughly 20 bracelets. Perfect for stacking bracelets or bracelet making parties!
