The Trailing Flowers Necklace – Pattern is suitable for people with just a little beading experience.  There are full written instructions as well as clear diagram. The necklace is build up in stages with individual components connected together.

This floral necklace was designed by Steph Gibbs and is created in 3 stages, starting with multiple individual flowers and then simply connected together with the trailing leaves and turned into a necklace. This pattern uses basic netting and stringing techniques to create an effective design.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a kit, it is just the Trailing Flowers Necklace – Pattern.

To create this necklace you will require the following:

Materials  required
Size 11 seed beads in multiple floral colours  (quantity depends on how many flowers you make, 10g would be plenty)
Size 11 seed beads in greens (same again 10g would be plenty)
10g x Size 8 seed beads in greens
Larger beads for the flower centres (4mm Swarovski  xilion beads work well – you’ll need 1 per flower)
Size 12 beading needle
Beading thread to match flower colour and foliage (Nymo works well)
50cm x flexible beading wire (19 strand or 49 strand)
Necklace findings; 1 x clasp, 2 x necklace ends, 2 x crimp tubes, 1 extension chain and 2 x jump rings.
2 x Bead Stoppers

You will also find a bead mat and a pair of chain nose pliers handy.

Kits for this design are also available in reds, pinks and yellows.
