Learn how to make French beaded Gerbera Daisies with Lesley Belton on Saturday 18th July 2020 starting at 10.30am running for approximately 2 hrs.
Master French beading using Czech glass seed beads and wire. Lesley will guide you through the stages of creating your petals before assembling your flowers. This workshop includes the materials required to make at least 1 Gerbera daisy.
To ensure the smooth running of the workshop and make sure you can get straight into making the flowers at the start of the workshop you will need to thread approximately 2m of the size 11 lilac seed beads onto the 0.5mm wire before the start of the workshop, this is made easier with the use of a bead mat and using a scooping action from the mat.
How will it work?
Buy the virtual workshop, we will post you the materials and provide you with the information needed to join our virtual class, this will be via a link.
What if the post is delayed and I don’t receive my items in time?
We will be sending out all the kits via 1st class post in envelopes that will fit through a standard letter box, so all being well the Royal Mail will be able to delivery in time and. If there is a hiccup with delivery and you do not receive it in time, the recording of the workshop will be available for you to view once it has finished and we’re always happy to help via phone or email.
What if I miss the beginning, or can’t make the time after I’ve bought the kit?
If you have missed the beginning you will still be able to join in, but unfortunately I’ll not be able to start again. If you’ve missed more that the first 15 minutes or so, you might find it easier to wait until you can access the video after the live session has finished.
How long will the workshop be?
We will anticipate the workshop will be approximately 1 hour and a half to 2 hours (including introductions and questions as the end). Lesley, your tutor will be available at the end to answer any questions and by there for anyone who needs extra help (after all , everyone will have different levels of experience and works at a different pace, which is absolutely fine).
Do I need special software or equipment to view the tutorial?
You will need to use a device that has a forward facing camera, not all PC’s or laptops have this, however most tablets, pads and phones do. We will be using a service called Zoom, so that you can interact with the tutor and ask questions.
