Join us for a virtual workshop learning how to make earring and a bracelet
We will be running the session on Saturday 20th June at 2pm, (on previous class some people finished after an hour and a half, we had a mixture of complete beginners and experience people and it all worked well). We will be limiting the spaces for the class to 12 participants – so that everyone can have the opportunity to ask questions. If you have missed out on the first 10 places you can still buy a place and we will send you a link to view the complete workshop afterwards. We can also add you to a reserve list in case anyone can’t make it.
If there isn’t the option to buy a place showing above (buy box) we have sold out of live sessions, click here for the link to watch the video afterward. This is also the best option for if you know you are not available for the allocated workshop time, or why not join us for the next one.
This workshop is for just the workshop you can buy the materials kit separately here. The reason we have listed this workshop like this is so that anyone who already has the materials and pliers (or just the pliers) can buy the workshop independently to the kit.
If you already have pliers and materials this is a checklist of what you will require for the virtual workshop
Pliers (round nose, chain nose and cutters)
0.6mm silver plated wire.
Findings (earwires, headpins, jump rings and at least one clasp)
And of course BEADS – a combination of small (size 8 seed beads) and medium (4mm – 8mm) beads works well for this project.
How will it work?
Buy the virtual workshop and and the kit, we will post you the kit (if required) and provide you with the information needed to join our virtual class, this will be via a link.
What if the post is delayed and I don’t receive my items in time?
We will be sending out all the kits via 1st class post in envelopes that will fit through a standard letter box, so all being well the Royal Mail will be able to delivery in time and. If there is a hiccup with delivery and you do not receive it in time, the recording of the workshop will be available for you to view once it has finished and we’re always happy to help via phone or email.
What if I miss the beginning, or can’t make the time after I’ve bought the kit?
If you have missed the beginning you will still be able to join in, but unfortunately I’ll not be able to start again. If you’ve missed more that the first 15 minutes or so, you might find it easier to wait until you can access the video after the live session has finished.
How long will the workshop be?
We will anticipate the workshop will be approximately 1 hour and a half (including introductions and questions as the end). Steph, our tutor will be available for longer and will stay connected with anyone who has further questions or needs extra help (after all , everyone will have different levels of experience and works at a different pace, which is absolutely fine).
Do I need special software or equipment to view the tutorial?
You will need to use a device that has a forward facing camera, not all PC’s or laptops have this, however most tablets, pads and phones do. We will be using a service called Zoom, so that you can interact with Steph and ask questions.
