Beadalon 49 beading wire is the softest and most flexible of all of the Beadalon range of beading wires. Made up from 49 miniature stainless steel wires, twisted together and finally coated with a thin film of nylon. As this is the most flexible of the beading wires it is compared to fabric thread and it is possible to knot.
This colour of this Beadalon 49, Bright, is the most common, unlike the name suggests it has a dull silver appearance, making it a good colour to use in many beading projects. The diameter of this thread is .018 inches or 0.46mm, even though it is made up from 49 strands! This spool contains 9.2 metres of wire. This is more expensive than the other 7 strand and 19 strand wires but it is a premium beading thread and is very, very nice to use. Strong enough to be used with large glass or ceramic beads and flexible enough to use with seed beads and miyuki delicas.
