Beadalon Thread Zapper

Description

The Beadalon Thread Zapper is a Battery Operated Heat Cord Cutter. The ideal tool to cut and seal thread ends by burning. The heating element at the end of the wand heats instantly at the push of a button. The fine tip easily gets into hard to reach thread. Requires two AAA batteries to operate.

This beadalon thread zapper was specifically designed to work on WildFire Cord, to quickly and easily cut and fuse the ends of the Thread. It will also work on other nylon and poly-cords to melt and fuse the ends. This tool is not ideal for use on cotton and other natural cords (they will burn as opposed to melt).

CAUTION: Tip get incredibly hot when button is depressed. Keep the cap on when not in use – it will prevent the button from being depressed and stop it heating up when not in use.

Over time the filament can wear out, at it is very fine to be able to get into small spaces between small beads. You can get replacement tips for the tool that slot into the end, these are available here.
