Description
Join Steph for our Beading on a Loom workshop. In this class you’ll learn how to make your own bracelet on a Beadalon Jewel Loom.
All the beads and thread are provided for the workshop. You’ll get to take home your finished bracelets. Jewel looms will be provided to use in the class, with the option of buying it at the end of the workshop. We know some participants will already have one which is why this is optional. There will also be an accompanying hand out to take away with you as well. We’ll be using size 8 Preciosa seed beads on the Beading on a Loom Workshop. We have a wide range of colours to choose from. So we’re sure you’ll find just the right combination that you love. You’ll learn how to set up the loom with warp threads and how to start the bead weaving with weft threads. You’ll be shown how to use the handy slide end connectors to create a lovely professional finish to your bracelet. We have pre-prepared designs available to use for your bracelet as well as blank templated to design your own.
If you usually wear glasses or use a magnifier for close work please do bring them along with you as sone of the beads used are quite small.
Refreshments are provided and you’ll be given a 10% off voucher for use in store (valid for 1 month). As well as a 50% discount voucher off a tea or coffee from our café (valid for a week).
You can see all our workshops on our dedicated workshop page here.
