Size 8 Iridescent Blue Seed Beads

Description

Size 8 iridescent blue seed beads are a metallic dark blue style small glass bead. Seed beads are used for a variety of beading including beadweaving, straight stringing necklaces and elasticated bracelets. The round donut shaped bead measures 3mm x 2mm and has a generously sized hole in the centre of the bead. The hole is approxiamately 0.8mm. Preciosa manufacture these glass beads in the Czech Republic and are consistent in size and shape. That said, seed beads are a rounded donut shape which produce gaps when weaved together in peyote or brickstitch.

By stringing the size 8 iridescent blue seed beads onto 0.7mm stretch magic elastic and tying a knot you will create a simple but effective bracelet. You can experiment with these beads on any number of the projects on our Youtube channel.
