Peyote Stitch Bat Pattern
Description
Our Bat Necklace Peyote Stitch Pattern is perfect for making a statement necklace.
The pattern is an intermediate peyote stitch pattern. The instructions cover how to start as well as odd count peyote stitch. Both diagrams and written instructions are included in the 7 page pattern. If you’re a more experienced beader, there’s always the option to jump ahead, straight to the large charts at the back. Although I’d always recommend reading through the instructions first as there may be some helpful tips for you too.
Although we class the pattern as an intermediate level if you’re already familiar with basic Peyote stitch, this might be a great next level project for you. There’s handy tips along the way too.
The Bat Peyote stitch Kit has been designed to be turned into a necklace. An explanation and link to a useful video are included in the instructions to show you how to do this. You are of course welcome to use the bat in other ways. It would look great as a small art work in a box frame.
You will need use of cutters and chain nose pliers to attach the chain (if you want to attach chain to wear your bat as a Necklace).
Our Bat design is also available in kit form in 2 different colourways, Bertie (Purple & Black) or Bernie (2 tone Black). The kits come complete with instructions, beads, findings, needle and thread.
Our Bat Necklace Peyote Stitch Pattern are available as a single emailed PDF. Available as an instant PDF download via an email link. There is also the option for us to print out and post the pattern to you.
Materials Required
Size 11 Miyuki Delica beads have been used in 2 colours. Colour A requires 2.5g and colour B 1g. You can see our range of size 11 delica beads here.
Size 13 seed beads have also been used to create the small hanging loops in each design. Alongside your pattern and beads, you will also need a size 12 or 13 beading needle and beading thread. You will also need use of embroidery scissors. You may also find a bead mat & bead stopper useful.
We have a video tutorial showing you how to start brick stitch which you will find helpful if you’re new to beading.
