If you’ve not done any kind of beading before and are unfamiliar with beading thread and needles. They can be a little tricker to thread. Hopefully this little trick will help or make it a little easier for you.
Converting your beadwork to a bracelet
This video shows how you could turn your beadwork into a bracelet. You would need to finish the beading 2cm shorter than your desired finished bracelet length. Then use a slide end connector to encase the last row of bead work. You can measure the width of your beads and select the most appropriate size clasp. Most likely the 13mm. If the beading is just a little bit wider you can add an addition row using slightly narrower beads, to create a narrow width to fit the clasp.
Please note, the bracelet in the video shows a bracelet using smaller beads, but the technique is the same. It may also be easier to tie the warp thread in pairs rather than multiple strands at once, make sure you include the end of your weft thread into 1 of the knots. The key to a neat finish is tying the knots close to the beadwork (with no gaps), but not oven tighten them or accidently ruche the beading.
