Craft Wire

Craft wire is a versatile, pliable, and lightweight metal wire designed for jewelry-making, sculpting, and various decorative DIY projects.

The most commonly used wire has a copper core that is usually plated, coloured or enamelled. Copper craft wire is easy to manipulate with your fingers and even easier with jewellery making pliers. Specialist pliers such as nylon jawed are used so not to mark the wire when shaping it.

Aluminium wire is another craft wire but not as popular as copper. Stainless steel is also available but again not as popular as copper.
