SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS 5mm 5328 XILION bead. The XILION Bead is the most popular bead shape that we sell, it replaces the 5301 Bicone bead which Swarovski have transformed into the new patented 5328 shape: It features 50% more facets for extra brilliance and light refraction, a smoother equator for increased comfort during wearing and rounded hole edges?to protect stringing materials. The hole size is approximately 1mm, they are available in 39 different colours. 5328 is also available in 3mm, 4mm, 6mm & 8mm. These 5mm Swarovski crystal beads are incredibly versatile and work well in almost any project they are ideal for tiaras. To give an idea of the difference between the sizes please see the additional image showing all the sizes photographed together. Sapphire is a bright transparent royal blue. Also available in 3mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm.

This shop and the people who work there are absolutely amazing! I order both online and via phone when I have a bigger order and they are so helpful. Recently I placed an order and it meant that they had to order some bits in because it was a big order and one or two items weren't normally stocked... by them. Rather than send me to another bead shop to get the non stock items, they put in a special order for me and went out of their way to make sure that all was done in one stop. They ship things quickly and securely and the packages are always well wrapped without being wasteful. In all, The Bead Shop (Nottingham) is one of the best bead shops around and I wish I lived closer so I could spend more time browsing the actual shop!read more

I recently attended a beginners jewellery workshop at The Bead Shop in Nottingham, after being given a voucher for my birthday last year. I have fancied picking up a little creative hobby for a while, but what I hadn’t anticipated was just how relaxing it would be. I completely switched off to... everything else for 3 hours and it was so refreshing. Stumbled across this wonderful site while I was shopping for some new delica beads and I was thrilled by the choice of colours and the different types of beads they offer at very reasonable prices. I am new to bead weaving and having bought seed beads ,needles and a book to start I realised storage was an issue. I bought bead tubes and a needle case to protect my tools. I then saw the beginners kit so that went in my basket. The delivery was quick and by Royal mail, wooden needle case take... my new beading needles(can't find them anywhere else). Great little shop packed with everything you need to make gorgeous bead creations. We attended one of the bead jewellery workshops upstairs. There were 10 of us on a hen party day of celebrations. Our tutor, Emma was brilliant and we all made a pair of earrings and a bracelet to take home. With it... being a hen party she also allowed us to have cupcakes and champagne whilst we worked.
