The Red Chunky Star Earring Kit is perfect project to learn how to do Peyote Stitch in the round.

The Chunk Star design started off life as a workshop design, as many of our kits do! It’s a great way to thoroughly test out the designs too. Steph, who designed the kit, is a big fan of Peyote stitch. She loves the different shapes and structures you can create especially when incorporating playful patterns too. When we were teaching the workshop we had several request for a kit from people further afield, so we’re very happy to be launching it to a wider audience now, which I hope you are too!

This design is an ideal project for experienced and competent beginner beaders. Even if you’ve only made basic Peyote stitch items before. The instructions explain all the steps clearly and there’s plenty of diagrams and photographs to support you. The kits contains all the materials and instructions needed to complete your earrings. We also have a page dedicated to additional resources which can help further.

You will also find a pair of chain nose pliers handy for attaching the fish hook, these are not included with the kit. If you’re local to us in Nottingham, you’re welcome to pop in to use a pair.
