Description

There is a brief history of bead embroidery, a section showing the different materials that can be used and the effects that can be achieved. There is also a section which shows how to prepare your frame before commencing with the embroidery.
The author, Shelley Cox, then splits the book into four sections and details the different stitches used for Counted Thread Beadwork; Bead Embroidery; Beaded Surface Embroidery and Fringes.
Although there are no project in the book, by practicing the different stitches – the stitcher could create a beautiful sampler.
