Shrink Plastic Jewellery Kit

This Shrink Plastic Jewellery Kit was designed by Alexandra Defina. It’s a great way to be introduced to shrink plastic and discover how fun and easy it can be to make your own personalised jewellery.

Shrink plastic is a fun medium to work with. It allows you to turn your drawings and doodles into your own wearable art (or use Alex’s templates at a starting point). It’s the perfect kit for beginners, young crafters or if you’re just looking for a new craft to try.

The kit contains 4 small sheets of shrink plastic (2 silver & 2 gold). A permanent fine marker pen and a selection of findings to turn your pieces into jewellery, including chains and ear wires.

The kit also contains full colour instructions including templates for shapes and designs that can be traced onto the plastic.

Do bear in mind that due to the need for sharp scissors and the hot temperature the plastic can get to, very young crafters will require the assistance of a responsible adult.

To complete the kit you will also need scissors to cut out your plastic. As well as chain nose pliers and a second pair (these could be chain or round nose pliers . The pliers are not included in the kit, they’re used to add the jump rings to turn your pieces into jewellery.
