Sterling Silver 2mm Crimp Beads

These sterling silver 2mm crimp beads are used to connect clasps to threads such as Beadalon, Soft Flex and Supplemax where it is not easy to tie a knot. Like other crimp beads you can either use them with necklace ends. These crimps look like spacer beads because they are round and not a short tube, like our plated crimp beads.

Crimps are used on illusion necklaces, where they are ‘crushed’ on either side of a bead so it does not move. To do this, use with either flat nose pliers or crimping pliers.

These sterling silver 2mm crimp beads have an internal diameter of 1.5mm so they are easy to thread. This gives you the option of using several strands in one crimp bead if you so wish.
